Before Chenyu joined the CSFM at ETH Zurich, she obtained her PhD in the Chair of Cartography and Visual Analytics at the external pageTechnical University of Munichcall_made advised by external pageProfesor Liqiu Mengcall_made in 2022. Her monograph PhD thesis earning her 'magna cum laude' honors was titled Map-based Dashboard for Social Environment Understanding. Research area
Chenyu is a postdoctoral research fellow at ETH Zurich. Her research interests lie at the intersection between visual analytics, geodata mining, and cognition science. She aims to support interpretable, accountable, and trustworthy human-centered computing environments using visualizations.
