Open Digital Twin Workflow Standard
First draft
The first draft of the Open Digital Twin Workflow Standard (ODTWS) has been released. It is based on the documentation of the Open Digital Twin Platform (ODTP) and has been adapted by the technical committee for the Open Digital Twin Standard, which currently consists of the authors of the ODTP.
The standard aims to be inclusive and overarching, supporting technical implementations of digital twins across various applications in business, governance, and research. We encourage all interested organizations to contact us to join the technical committee for future drafts and the finalization of the standard.
Expert feedback and continuous improvement
An expert panel of more than 20 specialists kindly provided feedback on this standard, evaluating its conceptual framework, technical implementation, readability, and documentation. Their valuable insights have been incorporated to the greatest possible extent before releasing the first public version.
We extend our gratitude to the panel of experts from research, administration, and industry who contributed to the initial review. We look forward to further input and collaboration from interested users and practitioners.
